Nature can be deceptive. True form is beheld only by a fearlessly skeptical witness

Definitions

Reality takes shape by our definition of it. What is love, and by contrast what is abuse? Here's an honest definition of love, abuse, courage, war, paradox, science and shamanism.

        Love: (n.)

Unconditionally forgiving appreciative attention

        Abuse:

Punishment, judgement, and neglect

        Courage: (n.)

Action in spite of fear

        War: (t.v.)

The forceful attempt to acquire control based on deception and exploitation of

vulnerability

        Paradox: (n.)

An irrational binary expression from which an infinite spectrum of contrasting novelty

inevitably emerges

        Science: (n.)

A method for attaining relative knowledge based on skeptical observation of measurement intended to eliminate any potential for deception, especially self-deception

        Shamanism (n.)

The universally organic process by which self-realization is shared with community

The Nature of Reality

All reality is nature. All follows thermodynamic law. No amount of energy can be created or destroyed; it can only transfer from one state and/or place to another along the path of least resistance.

Existence and observation are two sides of a single coin. They are interdependent, interwoven; timelessly defining each other. Without one there can not be the other. Existence is literally all that which is ever observable in any way.

The observer is you, and existence is all you have ever sensed, thought or otherwise perceived. Anything capable of coming into your awareness in any way is real and has infinite potential value. Anything you’ve ever become aware of exists in you, because you’ve observed it.

This process appears to be inevitable. As long as you are aware, the observation of existence to some degree is unavoidable. The universe and our awareness of it are ever changing and apparently can not stop. Yet despite this inescapable motion, fear is the uninformed resistance to observation and change. This resistance costs energy and those energetic losses mean unnecessary stress.

Just as existence and observation beget and define each other, so too do fear and neglect. To resist observation is to neglect a piece of existence with infinite potential value, that is to say a part of your reality and who you are, and in that neglected space fear has a home. Fear lives in the shadows untouched by the light of awareness, and is both the product and the perpetuator of neglect.

Since fear is the product of neglect, it is instantly and completely abolished through attention. Wherever neglect is discontinued through a focused awareness, fear loses an uninformed place of origin. To face your fear is to simply acknowledge any piece of existence you’d rather ignore. Be they private or shared, sensed or imagined, rational or irrational, fears can only exist to harm you if you evade and ignore them.

A being who is scared is a being who is uninformed and insecure. This is critical to recognize. You can not inform a person who resists a change in perception, and a fearfully stagnant mindset should be considered hazardous wherever it is encountered. Nature is the ultimate power, and all true security is derived through its alliance alone. When we resist nature in any way, we deprive ourselves of aid from the power of creation itself, and this means we fight that very power, which is beyond foolish. Since the resistance of nature is the loss of power and security, the result is a self-perpetuating state of stress and vulnerability.

It is therefore of the highest logic to be self-aware.
