Shamanism is the universally organic process by which self-realization is shared with community. This is regardless of means. Artists, scientists, philosophers and anyone else seeking to understand any aspect of nature and reflect that upon a community in any productive way is engaging in shamanism.
Those individuals who wish to be recognized as spiritual leaders of the church are taking on the responsibility of representing the church with their actions. This responsibility means observing the tenets in practice and leading by example, which is never expected of any member. It is to go above and beyond in service to the community, and it is the honor of the church to recognize these committed souls with humble pride and deep gratitude.
